What does an Instructional Designer do?

I Build Things to Help People Get Better at Their Jobs

My toolbox doesn’t hold a hammer, but it’s packed with adult learning theory, Instructional Design models like ADDIE and SAM, and tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, TechSmith Camtasia, and Articulate 360. You’ll also find teamwork, curiosity, and a good sense of humor in the mix!

Meaningful Learning Experiences

Training that simply checks a box is neither effective nor engaging. As an Instructional Designer, I collaborate with teams to identify performance gaps and create solutions that genuinely help employees improve their skills. By partnering with management and subject matter experts, we develop learning experiences that are not only impactful but also easy to understand and memorable for the learner.

Instructional Design Shenanigans

Fun swag for Instructional Designers and Talent Development people!

Sometimes, the best way to learn something is to jump right in. I wanted to learn Photoshop and Illustrator, so I started designing hoodies and t-shirts with an Instructional Design theme. Visit my store.

Take me there!
